Our Wedding

Along with a few of our cherished friends, we met in the most unlikely of places in the small town of Conway, Arkansas. While Kellen grew up in Austin, TX and Brandon, Petaluma, CA, we fell in love while attending the University of Central Arkansas where we both played collegiate sports. Even more unlikely, we were neighbors at our apartment complex, the Enclave, where Brandon lived in 301a and Kellen, 301b. Many of our attendees can confirm…. 301a threw the better parties. Although frequently attending each other’s parties, sporting events, and going on the occasional camping trip together, we didn’t officially start dating until 2018. Even when distance kept us apart, it only deepened our love and taught us to truly treasure every moment we share together. Upon Kellen graduating from UCA, we drove across the country and visited some of our favorite national parks before settling in Petaluma for a short time. Kellen pursued her calling of becoming a Physician Assistant and enrolled at the University of North Texas in Fort Worth. Although a big decision with another stint of long distance, we knew we could make it work. To celebrate closing the chapter on long distance, Brandon and Kellen traveled to Italy together. On May 27th, in Florence, Brandon proposed to Kellen in the stunning Boboli Gardens—a moment that marked the beginning of a lifetime filled with love, joy, and adventure.Since then, they’ve moved in together once again and begun their next chapter in San Francisco, embracing all that this new season of life has to offer.We can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family on our big day. Bodega Bay holds a special place in our hearts—rich with nostalgia for Brandon, who grew up nearby and fondly remembers trips with his mom to get jawbreakers at Patrick’s Salt Water Taffy. It’s also where we love to camp among the dunes and spend slow, happy days by the ocean whenever we can.We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
